Since July 2020, through the dedication and generosity of 350+ donors and 45 volunteers, we have empowered 102 households by delivering customized support.

Nourishing Neighbors: Achieving increased food and nutritional security for over 100 households by purchasing and delivering $244K+ in retail groceries and household essentials, and $12K+ in organic produce, chosen by neighbors and customized to their needs. We also provided $12K+ in pet food and supplies.

Our Roots: Bringing Justice Home was formed in July 2020 by a group of like-minded individuals who saw a vital need beyond traditional food support. We sought to provide more direct, personalized care for neighbors experiencing food insecurity, particularly those living with disabilities or facing health challenges. Our approach is deeply rooted in building just relationships, recognizing our shared humanity, and normalizing interdependence to eliminate the stigma of needing help. This is why we proudly use the term "neighbor" for those we serve – affirming the common humanity we all share.

Spread the word about BJH by staffing tables at events, and posting, sharing, and engaging on social media.Virtual Assistant: Help keep our operations running smoothly with data entry, spreadsheet management, and bookkeeping tasks.Neighbor Advocate: Connect with neighbors by phone to place and submit their personalized grocery orders.Community Bringer: Coordinate vibrant community events and offer vital social support by phone or through our online wellness community.

At Bringing Justice Home, we believe that true justice is rooted in love. It's about seeing each other not as strangers or adversaries, not as less-than or greater-than, but as fellow humans equally worthy of dignity and respect. It's about building bridges across divides, empowering the marginalized, and creating a world where everyone feels safe and valued.
